CANALI informs You, in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Hong Kong SAR (the "Ordinance") and any other applicable law, about the collection and use of Your personal data in CANALI boutiques, through the CANALI website, through the customer relationship management systems, the applications used by our sales staff and the other digital tools used to manage and personalise the customer experience.

根據香港特別行政區《個人資料（私隱）條例》（第486章）（下稱「條例」）及其他適用法律，CANALI特此告知您有關在CANALI專門店、透過CANALI網站、客戶關係管理系統、銷售人員使用的應用程式以及其他用以管理及個人化客戶體驗的數碼工具收集及使用您的個人資料的情況。

The data user in respect of Your personal data is CANALI S.p.A. a socio unico, with registered office at via Lombardia 17/19, Sovico (MB), Italy, a company subject to the direction and coordination of Canali Holding S.p.A. In respect of personal data collected in the CANALI boutiques in the Hong Kong SAR, Canali Far East Ltd, with offices at Suites 3107-3108, 31/F, PCCW Tower, 979 King's Road, Island East, Hong Kong, acts as data user jointly with CANALI S.p.A. The CANALI website is operated by CANALI S.p.A.

Where personalisation uses information used for the purpose of analysing preferences, it will take place only if You have also consented to that purpose. CANALI does not use automated systems to make decisions based solely on automated processing which produce legal effects concerning You or similarly significantly affect You.

It does not involve decisions based solely on automated processing which produce legal effects concerning You or similarly significantly affect You.

Sending e-mail communications concerning products and services similar to the CANALI products You have already purchased. The use of Your personal data for this purpose is subject to the arrangements set out in section 8 (Direct marketing) below.

The provision of Your contact data is voluntary if You wish to complete the purchase at a CANALI boutique, unless You request the shipment of the products to an address in the Hong Kong SAR, and is necessary if You wish to complete the purchase on the CANALI website; in that case, a failure to provide such data may make it impossible for CANALI to provide the service You have requested. The provision of Your accounting data is voluntary if You do not wish to receive an invoice, and is necessary if You request one.

● Browsing on the website: the provision of Your browsing data is automatic, and therefore necessary, when You browse the CANALI website.

CANALI will use Your personal data only for the purposes set out in this Notice, or for purposes directly related to them. Should CANALI wish to use Your personal data for a new purpose, it will first obtain Your express and voluntary consent, as required by the Ordinance.

CANALI will not keep Your personal data longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it is used, and will take all practicable steps to erase personal data that is no longer required for those purposes, in accordance with the Ordinance. The following periods apply.

CANALI adopts contractual or other means to ensure that any person who handles personal data on its behalf does not keep that data longer than is necessary and protects it against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use. Your personal data is uploaded to CANALI's customer relationship management system, which is hosted on servers located in Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the Mainland of the People's Republic of China, the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR, and is accessible to the following companies of the CANALI group: Canali S.p.A. a socio unico, Canali Retail France, Canali Retail UK Ltd, Canali USA Inc, Canali Madison LLC, Canali Beverly Hills LLC, Canali Shanghai Co. Ltd, Canali Macau Ltd and Canali Far East Ltd.

Persons with whom CANALI shares Your personal data may therefore be located outside the Hong Kong SAR, which may mean that Your personal data is not protected to a level similar to that afforded in the Hong Kong SAR. CANALI requires such persons to comply with obligations of confidentiality and security corresponding to those set out in this Notice.

The use of Your personal data for the purposes set out in sections 3.c (newsletters), 3.d (marketing), 3.e (analysis of preferences) and 3.h (communications on similar products) amounts to direct marketing under the Ordinance. CANALI will not use Your personal data in direct marketing without first obtaining Your consent, or an indication of no objection, in accordance with the Ordinance.

8.1 Use of Your personal data by CANALI in direct marketing

CANALI intends to use the following kinds of Your personal data in direct marketing: Your name and surname, contact data (postal address, e-mail address, telephone and mobile number) and data relating to Your purchases, boutique visits and interactions with CANALI.

The classes of goods and services in relation to which Your personal data will be used in direct marketing are: menswear, clothing, footwear, leather goods, accessories and fragrances bearing the CANALI brand, tailoring and made-to-measure services, after-sale and customer care services, and CANALI events, exclusive programmes and initiatives.

CANALI may not so use Your personal data unless it has received Your consent, or an indication of no objection, to the intended use. You may communicate Your consent, or Your objection, free of charge by ticking the relevant box on our forms, by writing to the address set out in section 2 above or by e-mail to privacy@canali.it. You may give Your consent generally, covering all the kinds of personal data and classes of goods and services set out above, or selectively, limiting it to particular kinds of personal data or classes of goods and services. Please specify any such limitations when communicating Your consent.

CANALI does not provide Your personal data to any third party, including the other companies of the CANALI group, for use in their own direct marketing. Direct marketing communications to customers of the CANALI boutiques in the Hong Kong SAR are made by Canali Far East Ltd, which manages those boutiques; newsletters are sent on its behalf by CANALI S.p.A.

You may at any time, and free of charge, require CANALI to cease using Your personal data in direct marketing. You may do so by clicking the unsubscribe link at the end of any of our e-mail communications, by writing to the address set out in section 2 above, or by e-mail to privacy@canali.it. CANALI will comply with Your request without charge and will ensure that it is complied with by any party acting on its behalf.

Under the Ordinance You have the right to ascertain whether CANALI holds personal data about You, to be supplied with a copy of that data, and to require the correction of any data that is inaccurate. You also have the right, set out in section 8.3 above, to require CANALI to cease using Your personal data in direct marketing.

CANALI will respond to a data access request or a data correction request within 40 days of its receipt. In order to allow CANALI to verify Your identity, please provide with Your request a copy of Your identity document and a valid e-mail address at which You may be contacted. Where the request is submitted through a third party, it must also be accompanied by a copy of the authorisation received from You. Such data is used for the sole purpose of verifying Your identity and handling Your request, and is kept only for the time necessary for that purpose.

CANALI takes all practicable steps to protect Your personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use, having regard to the kind of data held and the harm that could result. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel, who are bound by a duty of confidentiality and are instructed on the handling of personal data. Where personal data is submitted through the CANALI website, CANALI implements encryption and other industry-standard security measures to protect the transmission of that data. Should a data breach occur which is likely to result in a real risk of harm, CANALI will notify the affected customers and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data as soon as practicable, in accordance with the guidance issued by that Office.

Persons under the age of 18 must not use CANALI's online services or provide their personal data through the CANALI website. CANALI will not be responsible for false statements provided by persons under the age of 18. If CANALI becomes aware that it has collected personal data from a person under the age of 18, it will promptly delete such data. If a parent or legal guardian becomes aware that a person under the age of 18 has provided personal data to CANALI without their consent, they may contact CANALI at the address set out in section 2 above.CANALI will assist parents and legal guardians with any request concerning the personal data of persons under the age of 18.
